Coronavirus and Cannabis: Monitoring the Impact

Mar 29, 2021

Cannabis regulations are in flux across the U.S. as officials at every level of government work to contain the new coronavirus (COVID-19). This unprecedented international crisis has already severely impacted a wide range of industries, and it holds a variety of implications for many others, including the cannabis industry.

Helping the cannabis industry navigate complex regulatory issues and overcome unique challenges is at the core of what Vicente Sederberg does, and we are here to help the cannabis community however we can. Our attorneys and industry specialists are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation, and we are communicating with regulators to understand how local, state and federal efforts to contain the spread of the virus may affect cannabis business operators, medical patients, and other cannabis consumers.

We are compiling our findings in a series of VS Insights, linked below, and we will continue adding links for additional state-specific and hemp-specific pages and other resources as we develop them. We recommend bookmarking this page and checking back on occasion to stay informed.
