As a Corporate Paralegal in Vicente Sederberg's Boston office, Emily Sullivan is responsible for assisting in the drafting and filing of various corporate transactions, including formations, amendments, annual reports and other documents to be filed with the Massachusetts Secretary of State. Her attention to detail and vast working knowledge of filings at the Secretary of State allow her to work with passion and accuracy. She also works closely on SEC Compliance filings for the corporate department.
Prior to joining VS, Emily worked as a Paralegal Specialist at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and as a Corporate Paralegal at Precision Corporate Services in Boston. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and her Master of Science in Crime and Justice Studies from Suffolk University. Emily was an active member of the Suffolk University Paralegal Association and served as the Secretary of the Association during her senior year. Also, during her time at Suffolk University, Emily was inducted into the Lamda Epsilon Chi National Paralegal Honor Society and Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society. She stays involved with her alumnus by being a member of the GOLD Alumni Council and participating in the undergraduate Mentorship Program through the Suffolk University Career Services Office. Emily is a current voting member of the Massachusetts Paralegal Association as well as a Non-Practicing Attorney Member of the International Cannabis Bar Association.
