Best Lawyers® Recognizes Five Attorneys From National Cannabis Law Firm Vicente Sederberg LLP

DENVER and BOSTON — Five attorneys from national cannabis law firm Vicente Sederberg LLP (VS) were recognized this week by Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer review publication in the legal profession.

VS founding partners Brian Vicente and Christian Sederberg were selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America© 2021 for their work in the field of Corporate Law. Vicente was also selected for his work in Cannabis Law. Best Lawyers lists are based on an exhaustive peer-review evaluation, and more than 9.4 million votes were analyzed for the 2021 edition.

Three additional VS attorneys were included in the inaugural edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch, which recognizes associates and other lawyers who are earlier in their careers for their outstanding professional excellence in private practice. Boston-based senior associates Meg Nash and David M. Ullian were recognized for their work in Land Use and Zoning Law, and Denver-based senior associate Jerrico Perez was recognized for her work in Administrative/Regulatory Law.

“It’s refreshing and motivating to see the skills and experience of cannabis industry lawyers acknowledged among the leading legal talent in established sectors,” Vicente said. “We thank Best Lawyers and the legal professionals who nominated and supported VS attorneys in this process. We look forward to seeing this list of cannabis industry legal professionals grow as our nascent industry matures.”

Best Lawyers was first published in 1983 and has become universally regarded as a definitive guide to legal excellence. Inclusion is considered a singular honor because attorneys are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed.
